Greetings Woodbridge Golf Club Customers,

These are trying times for everyone and we at Woodbridge Golf Club want to do our part to offer a brief escape from the doom and gloom.  We are in contact with the City of Wylie, Collin County and are monitoring state and federal requests and requirements. Currently we will remain open in a modified fashion.  We feel that with stepped up cleaning and social distancing measures, we can offer a safe opportunity for a little pleasure.

By its nature, golf is somewhat of a social distancing activity; however, we are taking additional preventative measures. We strongly encourage walking to further distance yourself from others, There will be only (2) carts allowed per foursome. 2 of the players in the foursome will have to walk, You may put your bag on the cart and walk along. You may need to be a little patient as we are not requiring all employees to work and may be a little short staffed at times.

Please keep in mind we are limited to only 10 people in the clubhouse at one time including employees.  

Tee times are available at www.wbgolfclub.com and we are offering “to go” food orders. You can place an order by calling 972-429-5100 ext. 1.

 

Additional Measures

Our primary concern is the health and safety of our guests and employees, and in light of coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, we wanted to let you know that we are increasing our cleaning and disinfecting procedures.  Below are a few steps we are taking and asking our customer to follow while at Woodbridge Golf Club:

1. We are conscientiously implementing social behavior, food and drink preparation and serving modifications to prevent infection and spread of the virus.
2. We will be disinfecting golf cart surfaces prior to use. We will focus on steering wheels, arm rests, hand holds on roofs, bag straps and any other areas that customer touch frequently.
3. The golf shop and cleaning staff will disinfect counter areas, door handles, credit card terminals and areas inside and outside that customers may come into contact with.
4. We will require all groups to putt with the flag stick in and refrain from touching the flagstick at any time throughout their round. The golf course maintenance will also disinfect flag sticks throughout the day as well as surfaces that customers touch frequently.
5. Hand sanitizers are located in the golf shop for customers and staff (while supplies last). We also encourage proper hand washing whenever necessary (20 seconds).
6. The Woodbridge Grill will remain open daily from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will have menu items “to go” only. If you feel uncomfortable coming inside, you can call and we will be happy to bring your order out to you curbside (972-429-5100 ext. 1).

 

Protocol on the golf course

1. All items that would be touched by multiple people have been removed

Including: water coolers, ball washers, bunker rakes, and divot scoops

2. Putting cups have been raise 1” above ground to prevent golf balls falling into cup and having to touch the cup or flag stick

 

3. Bathrooms on the golf course are temporarily closed until further notice

 

4. Rang tokens will be cleaned after every use.

 

5. We will start tee times at 8:00 am stop tee times at 3:30 pm to allow our staff to properly disinfect all surfaces.

 

As we all know, this is a fluid situation and may change at a moment’s notice.  Please exercise caution and stay safe!
